How can we assert long bows aren't made of yew?[]
- This misconception may exist because this bow is simply a large-sized bow made of a simple common wood, while longbows used by the famous English longbowmen were (for high quality ones) made of yew, which gives properties comparable to a composite bow.
Is there anything in Mount & Blade which specifies what M&B long bows are made of? I've seen nothing that claims they aren't (or are) made of yew (or osage, or hickory, elm, or anything else).

- It's all speculation. I intended to remove that earlier, guess I was feeling lazy that day and forgot.
