The Siege Crossbow is the strongest crossbow in the game. Thanks to the incredible speed at which the bolt is propelled, it is able to penetrate many of the weaker shields available even at fairly long range. This high projectile speed also allows it to shoot much farther than any other ranged weapon, except the Flintlock Pistol.
