Hi guys, I encountered an interesting game mechanic. Very rarely, after winning a fight against another lord, he doesn't manage to flee and I talk with him. He says "I would be in debt of freeing him", I say "You are free to go" (No buttons, it's said automatically) and I cant capture him. My relationship with him isn't even good, about -10 I believe. The relationship increased, I gained honor, usual stuff, but I couldn't select "You are my prisoner now" although I captured him. Does anybody know why? I'm using the standard M&B (not Warband) without any mods, btw. Thanks in advance!

- Are you sure the lord you are releasing is the one you defeated in battle? This normally happens if you defeat a lord who is holding another lord prisoner, the one who is thanking you for freeing him is the former prisoner, not the lord you fought.
