- There are no tools required to besiege a castle. You need at least a party of 10 to have the option available, although attacking with an army this small is almost certainly suicide. Your army should be bigger in number than the defenders and consist of elite troops, especially foot soldiers. To besiege a castle, you'll need to construct either a siege ladder or tower, the time required to do so is dependant on your Engineer skill. See the Sieges article for more information.
